Week of 9/28

This week we will not have a spelling test. :) Don't forget your permission slip and $7.00 for our field trip.
We will be moving on in social studies this week to western expansion in the United States. Our Reading class will go hand in hand with Social Studies. I'll be reading a book with you that I'm sure you will enjoy. Which Way to The Wild West by, Steve Sheinkin. Check my blog for updates on sites. Here are a few to get you started.

http://www2.lhric.org/pocantico/westward_expansion/westward_expansion.htm.  Check the guide links to the left when you get to this site.

This last one just lets you know about the book I'll be reading.

Habits Again... They are super important!

7 Habits

Welcome to 5th Grade!

This blog does not require a password for you, your parents, or even your grandparents. Anyone who has the address can view the fun sites I'll be placing on here for you.
I will also put your vocabulary/spelling lists on here for easy access. This is not where you will find your homework assignments. They will, or should be located in your planner. ;)
To access sites just click on the address. Sometimes games will not play on IPads and IPhones. You should be able to play them on your laptops or home computers.
There will be times I will post an assignment on here with directions to be done at home or in the computer lab. You will be reminded to place any homework in your planner. :) Planner, Planner, Planner
I'm very excited to teach all new material to you this year! I'm sure we are going to make it a GREAT one!
